Basha 9th Football Finishes as Central Region Champions

What a great way to finish our season with all of our players getting to play against Mesquite and claiming the region championship. In their wins this season, the young Bears averaged 46 points per game and looked sharp. “Our young men played well at times and learned a ton this season. We look forward to the off season and getting faster, stronger, and let the natural growing process take over with our weight training.”
We plan to get started soon with some pre off season testing of strength, speed, and agility. Having our 9th graders in the weight room 2nd period has given us a real jump on them learning what we want and how to do things. We will re-focus on our lifting techniques and our nutrition.
There were several great plays on Wednesday vs. Mesquite. Jake Carlin was the anchor for the offensive line that has helped the 9th running and passing game. Ivan Sanchez, Dillon Udall, Zach Rucas, Dionte Sykes, Rajhan Meriwether, Zach Werlinger, T.J. Thompson, Antonio Nevaraz, all made super big time plays to name a few. Congratulations to all the 9th grade coaches and players.
See you at the banquet.  bb
